My breasts were wide set before my BA and are even more noticeably wide set now. I still need to do a vertical lift on both sides but I am wondering if this can give the appearance, even slightly, of closer set breasts?
Answer: Breast lift result Breast lifts are designed to elevate and reshape breasts. This usually means making them less long and saggy and more rounded. The more elevated and rounded should give some appearance of less space between them. You need in person evaluation to see if this is true for you. Good luck.

Answer: Breast Lift Techniques, Incisions and Scarring Hi mad tall, Breast lift surgery aims to re-volumize the breast with either and natural implant or fat grafting followed by nipple repositioning using the lift. I prefer to use a vertical incision (lollipop pattern) breast reduction technique instead of the anchor scar pattern for more significant lifts. This reduces more noticeable scarring than usual. Mastopexy that requires less than 2cm of lift only needs a donut incision. Every incision is also closed in five precise layers without using reactive sutures that can cause inflammation and eventual scarring. If you are considering a breast lift, you should consult with a board certified plastic surgeon to discuss your options and make sure your surgeon understands your goals. Only after a thorough examination you will get more information and recommendations. Answer: Can a breast lift help breasts be closer together? I'm afraid a vertical lift will not help bring your breasts closer together. Vertical lifts are simply not strong enough to do that. If anything, a vertical lift might make them appear further apart. In addition, the weight of the implant will continue to stretch your tissues out making them further apart. It sounds like you needed a breast lift prior to your BA. There is a technique that can correct what you are describing, but it would be more helpful if you could provide pre BA pics and current pictures. Please visit a board certified plastic surgeon who is experienced with revision breast augmentation surgery.Best wishes and kind regards,

Answer: Breast lift Hello and thank you for your question. The best advice you can receive is from an in-person consultation. A breast lift can be designed to bring your breasts closer together. This decision should be based on a detailed discussion with equal input from both you and your surgeon. Make sure you specifically look at before and after pictures of real patients who have had this surgery performed by your surgeon and evaluate their results. The most important aspect is to find a surgeon you are comfortable with. I recommend that you seek consultation with a qualified board-certified plastic surgeon who can evaluate you in person. Best wishes and good luck. Richard G. Reish, M.D. FACS Harvard-trained plastic surgeon
