The tip of my nose has a bubble on it! What can I do?

My rhinoplasty was a year February 16 my nose feels like I have a lot of pressure and the tip has a visible bubble that looks like something is trying to push through. The doctor rebroke, shaved and redefined my tip my swelling is still really bad

In general, I suggest that if people are unhappy with their results, they contact their surgeon to discuss the issue. Go visit your surgeon. There are many possible underlying causes for this "bubble" on your nose.  Since your surgeon did your operation, your surgeon should be able to guide you as to what is causing this concern and how to best improve the situation.Good luck!

After a year we would expect things to be smooth and well after your rhinoplasty. If there is an imperfection or a bump let your surgeon have a look at it to see what might be done to even things up.

Having been almost a year since your procedure the majority of your swelling and the pressure sensations resulting from that should have largely regressed by now. If what your describing as a bubble has become more visible over time, the most likely explanation would be that it is a piece of cartilage beneath your skin that was used to reshape your tip. As your swelling has gone down the structure of the cartilage beneath the skin becomes more visible over time. Regardless, I would talk to your surgeon about this issue and see what they think it is and what they can do about it. I wish you the best of luck and hope you can get this issue resolved!
