Why does my sweat smell after miradry treatment?

Congratulations on your 50% reduction in sweat. You should use deodorant again and speak with your treating physician about your concerns. Many patients require a second treatment for additional sweat/odor reduction.

One month after treatment you can certainly shave the underarm area and wear deodorant.  More often than not Miradry helps with the control of underarm odor.  Regular sweating can 'dilute' the potency of the more malodorous sweat.  Definitely follow up with the physician that treated you, resume your normal care regimen and plan on a second treatment at 3 months- you will likely notice a significant improvement in sweating and odor.
