Is it true that I should not bend down after Xeomin injections? (Photo)

This is my first time doing any cosmetic procedure. I'm scheduled for Xeomin injections for the 11's and forehead wrinkles. The assistants in the office mentioned that I should not lean forward afterwards. I have two dogs. It is difficult to manage them if I do not bend forward. I haven't seen this mentioned on realself. Additionally, I have been told by the doctor that there is no down time after the procedure. What should I expect? Will I look okay to go into public?

Hi and thank you for your question! The two treatments are quite independent of each other, so as long as there is no visible redness or other lesions on the skin, you can go ahead with getting the Xeomin. I hope it helps and good luck!

Since you've had Xeomin before, it is unlikely this is the cause. If it persists, I recommend getting a formal evaluation with your Doctor. Best, Dr. Emer

I doubt you will wake up with a droopy face, but you should tell your injector about your symptoms. Xeonim is a great neuromodulator. Best wishes, Dr. ALDO

Xeomin is like Botox.  Patients will typically start seeing results in 5-7 days.  The final result can take up to 10 days.  I would wait the full 10 days to see what your final result will be.  I would recommend reaching out to the doctor who injected you with any questions or concerns that you...
