It is usually recommended to avoid lying flat for 4 hours after a Xeomin treatment, but generally, a limited amount of bending forward is okay. It will take 1-2 weeks for final results with Xeomin. You should be OK bending down to tend your dogs about 3 to 4 hours after your Xeomin treatment. We recommend against reclining or bending down directly afterward mostly as a precaution. The Xeomin works quickly and should already be in your muscles, calming them down. However, the injections traumatize your skin a bit so dangling your head or reclining can worsen the swelling. Hello, you can still go about and do your daily activities after being injected with Xeomin. The only precautions usually taken are to avoid being overheated for 24 hours because of the possibility of worsening bruising. 

For four hours it is advised that your don't lay down following your botox injection, if you bend down for a brief period of time you will be okay. There is little bruising that comes with botox injections, on most people it is basically unrecognizable they received anything at all

Yes, I recommend you not bend forward or backwards 4 hours after a neuromodulator injection like Xeomin.

Each doctor will have their own protocol, some more specific than others. Some general guidelines to follow would be:
Do not receive any additional facial procedures for the first few days following your injectable treatment. Avoid strenuous exercise for 24 hours (we do not recommend doing inverted yoga poses for the first 24 hours) Avoid sun or heat for the first few daysAvoid consuming large amounts of alcohol, or anything that can potentially cause swelling.It's safe to use Tylenol or Ibuprofen for discomfort.We recommend taking Arnica to help reduce swelling and potential bruising.

I typically recommend no laying down flat, bending forward excessively (as you would be gardening, or an activity as such), or touching the treatment area for the first 4 hours following the injections. In addition, holding off intense exercise for 24 hours following the treatment. Normal daily activities should not have a negative effect on your results. Just be cautious of your activities and keep the area clean!

Refraining from bending down is only for the first 24 hours as your provider is wanting to keep the Xeomin where it was injected. After that, you are free to bend down and kiss your dogs!
