I think you are referring mostly to the use of PRP in your vaginal area to help with scarring. An O shot is two targeted shots, 1 in your clitoris and the other in your anterior wall of your vagina. The area you are talking about sounds more like your introitus ( the opening of your vagina). I am interested to know how long it has been since you had the labiaplasty and if you can feel a scratchy feeling when you palpate the area with your finger? You should not have any scratchy scars, if it was fairly recent I wonder if you don’t have some suture that has not dissolved sticking out, creating that scratchy feeling for your partner. If yes, then that is an easy fix, your surgeon can just pluck those undissolved suture out. If it is in fact your scar, then PRP can certainly help with scarring. Any practitioner who does the O shot should be able to use PRP to inject directly into the scar, just make sure you tell them what you really want. Thank you for your question. It would be difficult to answer this question accurately without seeing the tissue that is bothering you. PRP can help scars to heal and help break down tough scar tissue, but if you have rippling or extra tissue that could be removed, an RF needle may help with this.I suggest seeing your surgeon for an examination and further guidance.

PRP (platelet-rich plasma) is the active material used in giving the "O-Shot," which refers ONLY to injecting PRP around Graffenberg's area (the "G-Spot" or more properly "G-Area") to bulk it up to improve friction against the G- area, which containd both nerve receptors from the autonomic nervous system and the "root" of the clitoris. PRP has been used experimentally to help with scar tension, but there are no evidence-based studies confirming its efficacy. It should cause no harm ("Primum non nocere!") and may help. Unfortunately, many physicians use it "off-label" willy-nilly for just about everything and charge a bundle. Bottom line: be properly evaluated. It shouldn't harm you, and may help. Absolutely. PRP can help with healing of scars anywhere. I have used it for vaginal scarring even in severe cases of lichen sclerosus, keloids, burns, stretch marks, etc. Most importantly, it can cause you no harm but seek a licensed and certified provider as cellular medicine is a relatively new field.

We have used the O-Shot for trauma to the labia for pain in our clinic with very good results a month after getting the procedure done.

I don't think it will help with what you are looking for. Contact your surgeon and get his recommendations for post-op scarring.
