Is 18 too young to be doing Chin Liposuction?

There would not be an increased risk for a healthy 18 year old to undergo liposuction under the chin.  An exam or photos would be needed to determine if you might be a good candidate for the procedure.

18 years old is a great age for liposuction because you probably gave great young, youthful skin. You also have more elasticity because of your age so you will achieve great results.  

Assuming you have the indications for  liposuction, your age at 18 years old carries no increase risk or inherent hazards. However it is not a substitute for weight loss. Young adults may have better results than older adults due to better skin contraction or tightening after liposuction. Older adults may need a lifting procedure and or platysmaplasty with their liposuction.  One should see a board certified plastic or facial plastic surgeon for your neck rejuvenation options. 

 Chin liposuction works best in younger patients. It is easily performed with local anesthesia only.

Surgery is really a case-by-case basis for everyone.In some instances, young age is to be taken into consideration and can be a reason for concern.It is more important to make an assessment to see if the patient is a good candidate. Part of that assessment includes emotional maturity.For some people, this is a slam dunk.
