All of my patients get cardiac clearance before surgery, you should do the same. If you are medically cleared for surgery you shuld be fine. Best, Dr. Emer.
Lareau8. While liposuction has a long lasting safety record when performed by board certified Plastic Surgeons, extra precautions should be taken in your case. Medical clearance must be obtained prior to your surgery and your plastic surgeon should work in conjunction with your medical doctor. Best of luck.
If medical clearance can be obtained based upon more specific information and examination, elective surgery can be considered.Kenneth Hughes, MD, Board Certified Plastic SurgeonLos Angeles, CA
You would have to be cleared by your neurologist first before undergoing the surgery. You should also be examined first to make sure you are healthy and stable before liposuction. For as long as you have passed the pre-op evaluation, a liposuction procedure will be safe for you.
Hello, thanks for the questions. It is important that your doctor (neurologist), certify that your conditions are suitable to submit to this procedure, any procedure has its risk. The important thing is that you have a PS, certified by your country and that you make a good pre-surgical evaluation. Thank you and I hope that my answer will be very useful. Good luck .Member of the International Society of Aesthetic for Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery (ISAPS)Certified Plastic Surgeon with 26 years of experience.
Dear Lareau8,Liposuction is a formal surgical procedure and as such you would need full Medical Clearance prior to th procedure. If you have a cardiologist I would require you to see him and be cleared for the procedure. I would want to see Anesthsia pre-op as well. given your history I would recommend that your proecure be done in the hospital with a 23 hr overnight stay.Hope this helpsJames Sheridan,MDAsutin, TX
Dear Lareau8,Thanks so much for your inquiry. Although it is hard to give you an accurate advice without a proper in person consultation, it doesn't exist a Absolute Contraindication that says you can't have your procedure be done, because of your backgrounds we recommend you before your surgery, to have a Pre-operative validation done by a Internist Physician and a Anesthesiologist. Please make sure that you and your surgeon are on the same page. Don't forget to discuss all your concerns, options and expectations thoroughly. Have a safe and pleasant PS Journey!Respectfully, Dr. Jaime Campos León Board Certified Plastic SurgeonIG drcamposleonsnapchat: tjlipo
I suggest you get medical clearance prior to getting surgery to make sure you are a candidate for this procedure. Consult with a specialist to address all questions and concerns. Best,Dr.Mowlavi
I would simply put Bacitracin ointment on the incision. This should be adequate. It will close in less than 2 weeks.
The photos show you are almost there. With some sculpting of the waist, flanks and bra rolls, the waist should appear. It is important to maintain the curve of the hips into the waist, as the lateral buttock contour is straight.
Hello,Although you give little details, this is likely contaminated with bacteria and will not succumb to multiple aspirations. It will like require an incision and drainage procedure combined with decortication (capsulectomy) and obliteration with quilting sutures. If you are prepared for that ...
