Agreed, would follow up with your plastic surgeon to confirm that these symptoms are not indicative of a blood clot..
Generalized swelling, often in the lower extremities, is not uncommon after surgery. You have had an extensive procedure and swelling is to be expected. General anesthesia and liposuction surgery can cause significant fluid shifts within your body. These changes have not completely resolved because it has only been four days since your procedure. Blood clots can also cause swelling in the lower extremities, however the swelling is typically not on both sides and it can cause more localized pain. My recommendation is to discuss this with your surgeon. Best wishes.
It is not uncommon to see swelling and even bruising of the thighs after abdominoplasty and liposuction surgery. The swelling and bruising tends to descend with gravity so even if you didn't have surgery on your legs, they can get swollen. This will be a very temporary issue that should normalize within a few weeks.
I would say that if you did not have swelling in your thighs, that would be aa bit strange. Swelling is normal.
the swelling you describe only 4 days after surgery does not sound unusual. i assume you will be seeing your surgeon very soon, so certainly run it by him/her at the visit.

A tummy tuck is a procedure that will have varying healing times from patient to patient but at most you should feel and see results within a week or two. As it has been 29 days I highly suggest you contact your plastic surgeon to discuss what is happening. If you are having a complication...
Typically 7-10 days is a safe time to remove the sutures around the belly button. If you leave them in for longer there is an increased risk of suture marks and they may be more difficult to remove. It's difficult to make a really specific recommendation without examining you or at least seeing...
At 3.5 momths your scar is still very immature. You are doing a good job with it. You might add in a skin Lightner such as a hydroquinone, which your surgeon may be able to provide or there are over-the-counter skin lightening product that also contain smaller percentages of hydroquinone. You c...
What you are describing is a seroma. It is a pocket of fluid that has accumulated. Your surgeon can drain these in the office and typically the patients tolerate this very well. Your surgeon may recommend that you wear compression and watch your activity level to help keep the seroma from...
