Hey all! Throughout my life, I've been not insecure about my bulbous nose tip. I don't really have a desire to change anything about my nose other than the tip/don't want to do any bone reshaping. Is this possible and is there a pricing difference?
Answer: Rhinoplasty HI @alycattttttt! I recommend seeing an expert rhinoplasty specialist for in person examination. There are several options for you that can be determined after examination. Best of luck, Dr. Nima!

Answer: Refined I would recommend an open rhinoplasty to address the cartilages and perform tip suturing to provide a more refined tip. Best of luck!

Answer: Tip plasty versus full rhinoplasty: Tip plasty versus full rhinoplasty: A tip plasty can be done as a procedure separate from any other aspects of a rhinoplasty. If so it is a lesser procedure which accordingly is less invasive with less post operative bruising or side effects, and a quicker recovery. It also takes less time to perform then a full rhinoplasty and is therefore less expensive. However in some cases tip plasty doesn’t produce the optimum aesthetic result that could be achieved with a full rhinoplasty , if this is called for. It is impossible to assess whether or not a full rhinoplasty is a consideration for you since you do not show any profile images. But if all that bothers you is the tip it is certainly possible to address just that.

Answer: Tip refinement You would be a great candidate for a rhinoplasty to refine your tip. I agree that the tip appears slightly bulbous but otherwise you have a great nose to start with. Reshaping the cartilage would help the contour. Keep in mind that the rest of your nose may need subtle refinement to maintain the harmony with your tip.

Answer: Solutions For A Bulbous Tip The bulbous area at the tip of your nose could be addressed with a rhinoplasty, or specifically, a "tip plasty." The beauty of rhinoplasty surgery is that because every patient is different, surgery can be customized to what the patient desires. I have operated on identical twins, and their noses were not exactly the same. The aesthetic desire of each patient varies, and some patients only want their dorsal hump filed down, while others like you desire a more feminine and delicate tip! It is all dependent on the patient’s concerns and anatomy, and during my hour-long consultation with each patient, we review everything in detail. I recommend you consult in person with a board certified plastic surgeon who has decades of experience with rhinoplasty surgery.
