Can filler be removed during closed rhinoplasty ?

The approach areas of these areas are typically wide and allow modification of the structure of the dorsum of the nose. Fillers can be removed if there are any. Hi there! Filler can be removed during rhinoplasty surgeon. If a closed approach is performed, there's a good chance it can be removed as well. Dissolving with hyaluronidase does help but doesn't always get everything. As long as the location of filler injection is known, the surgeon can often remove what's left. It's best to have the filler reversed with hyaluronidase, so there will only be very minimal amount in the tissues once your closed rhinoplasty is being performed. If there's additional filler present, it can be removed with either closed or open rhinoplasty. In our practice, we perform only closed rhinoplasty.
