Is my nose overprojected? (Photo)

Question

I had a revision rhinoplasty over a year and a half ago to address a wide bridge, over-rotated and under-projected tip. I'm still not happy with my nose however and think my tip now looks too projected/pointy and it makes my bridge look scooped/ski slope like. Should I get a 3rd revision to address these issues or try to live with what I have?

Thank you for your question and photos. It does appear that your nose is over-projected, which can be corrected during revision rhinoplasty. Specifically, tip plasty can change the shape and size of your nasal tip to create a more defined and natural-looking appearance that complements the rest of your facial features.

Please note that each subsequent nose surgery becomes more complex due to the loss of structural support, scar tissue, and other factors. The importance of experience, expertise, and artistry cannot be overstated. I recommend scheduling an in-person consultation with an experienced, board-certified facial plastic surgeon, with expertise in tip rhinoplasty techniques. They will be able to review your surgical history and evaluate your concerns to determine the best course of action.

From the photos, your nasal tip does appear to be a bit long. This is something that can be improved with revision rhinoplasty. It doesn't have to be a big procedure - just surgery on the tip should work well. Be sure to see a rhinoplasty expert for consultation.

Hello! Thank you for your question.From the photos you provided, your nose looks overprojected. I would need more information to make a better evaluation (did they use extra cartilage from rib or ear to reshape the tip? ...).With a 3rd revision rhinoplasty it is possible to shorten the tip.
