I went in today to have my last drain removed but the sutures in my belly bottom and side (where the wound had opened 2 days post op and required 12 stitches) were left in. She told me to come back in 1 month to have them removed. Is 6 weeks too long to have these non dissolvable (blue) sutures left in?
