Is the giggly fat part of my upper tummy really just swelling? I am 26 dpo and it hasn't changed at all.

My lower belly feels nice and tight. The top how ever is lose and giggly. My Dr is amazing and I have email his staff and they assure me it will go down that it is swelling. They are all amazing and I don't want to keep bugging them with my insecurities so I thought I would ask here. I thought swelling would be firm and come and go but this has not changed since the day I came home  And it really makes me feel unattractive and sad. I am trying to give it time but it's hard

At seven weeks post op you are still healing from surgery. You won't see your final results for up to one year. I know it's hard to be patient, but continue to follow the advice of your board certified plastic surgeon for optimal results.

From the photo it looks to be more skin gathering than a hole and is probably the excess skin at the end of the scar - a dog ear as we tend to call it. Best to be examined by your PS if you have any concerns.

Typically right after surgery patients wear loose fitting clothing due to swelling and to accommodate compression garments. This also keep pressure off new incisions and tissues that may have changes in sensation. I would recommend avoiding restrictive or uncomfortable garments, but I'm unsure...
