I am 32, 5'4" 118 lb and have nursed 4 babies. Now that I have stopped nursing, my breasts are deflated, seem to be more wide spread and my nipples/areolas are bigger and indented. My surgeon said that I don't need a lift and suggested using mod profile implants. I'm thinking 405cc or 445ccs? I have a small chest (28") but a fairly large BWD. I hope to fill up the emptiness I have & gain some roundness. In your opinion, are these results possible and what implant do you think may achieve this?

Answer: Yes you can! I would consider saline moderate plus or high profile implants for the look you desire. One could use high profile silicone as well. I use a small one inch incision under the arm pit area for the saline implants. While very board certified plastic surgeon will have a different plan and size for you I think your goal pic but a bit smaller looks reasonable based on your current pictures. Good Luck!

Answer: Short answer, yes. Your story and photos suggest that you would be an excellent candidate for breast augmentation but precise information or recommendations can only be determined with a careful examination and detailed discussion with your plastic surgeon. Volume (300 versus 400), is far less significant than implant width and projection. Saline versus silicone is also important, as is "round" versus "anatomical" or "form stable" or "shaped". It is crucial that you select an experienced board certified plastic surgeon whose aesthetics align with your own, and with whom you feel comfortable. Don't be reluctant to seek a second or even third opinion to be sure and feel confident. Make sure that your surgeon sees photographs of your "favorites" or ideal. Expressing your desired cup size is notoriously inaccurate, and final breast size is the most common reason for patient disappointment after breast augmentation, either too big or not big enough. The good news is that from your photos it appears that your breasts are pretty and fairly symmetrical, which is always a good starting point. Take your time, do your research. Best of luck to you.
