See no to little changes after getting Dysport 3 days ago. Is this normal?

I am happy to tell you that it is normal to not experience the full effects of Dysport until about two weeks after your injections. After that time frame, if you still do not see the results that you desire then I would return to your provider for their expertise.

While use of the neuromodulator Dysport may have faster onset compared to other products on the market, individual results will vary. We advise patients wait two weeks prior to touch-up. It is recommend you discuss individual results with your provider.

Yes, it is very common for Dysport to take 1-2 weeks before the results become evident. If you do not see the outcome you want after two weeks, you can schedule a follow-up with your injector to determine whether you might need additional injections. Make sure you are working with a very experienced, qualified injector who will know how to produce the best possible results for you.

Hi and thank you for your question. Although it is possible to see results closer to a week after treatment, it takes many patients the entire 14 days to see their final result. If you do not see the results you were hoping for after 14 days then I recommend you contact your injector. I hope this helped! Best wishes.

I always tell my patients to allow 10 days before deciding anything about their injections.  At that point, we can judge the final results and make any required tweaks.All the best,

Thank you for your question!  Patients can see results as quickly as 2-4 days, but the full effect of the treatment can take up to two weeks.  If you still feel like your Dysport treatment has not given you the full effect you are desiring after two weeks, then I would follow up with your injector!

I would agree with your doctor and wait 2 weeks to see the full effects from your Dysport treatment.  Some people will begin to see some improvement after a few days, but others may not.  The dosage of Dysport used is also a factor though and 20 units is an extremely small dose to treat 3 different areas.  If you do not see any improvement after 2 weeks, I would recommend returning to the physician who treated you.  Using more Dysport would then likely improve your results.  

Many patients report seeing some effect of the treatment within the first 5-7 days, however final results are not seen until 14 days after treatment.  If after this time you still have concerns, return to your injector for an evaluation.

Some patients see results with Dysport sooner than others, so it is not uncommon to see only minimal changes 3 days after your injection.  Try and be patient, as the full results take 2 weeks to show.  After the 2 weeks, if you still have concerns, I would recommend scheduling a follow-up with your provider to get touch ups if necessary.
