See no to little changes after getting Dysport 3 days ago. Is this normal?

I'm 29 and got Dysport Monday morning. It is now Tuesday night and see very little to no changes. My injector did I think 20 some units for my forhead, crows feet and "lip flip" all together (I think). My injector told me it could take up to 2 weeks to see results but I'm super inpatient. Is this normal not to see results by now. I've been super excited about getting them and ready to see results!

It would be highly, highly unlikely that there would be permanent damage from a neurotoxin injection in the lip. Neurotoxin works locally and its effects typically wear off within 3-4 months. While I always say that anything is possible in medicine, I would look for other reasons for nerve...

Eyebrows feel heavy. I feel a light headache and fatigued. Is this normal?

It is not unusual for the eyebrows to feel heavy after a Dysport treatment to the forehead.  This feeling normally improves within a week or so.  While there are several potential temporary side effects with Dysport, I have not had any patients tell me they were fatigued after the treatment.

Swelling like you describe is extremely unusual and should be followed up with your injector - particularly if OTC antihistamines had no effect. I would see your injector as soon as possible to determine the cause of...

Uneven brows -should I wait 7-10 days and expect things to even out since I am only 4 days post Dysport or is the damage done?

Neurotoxin takes 4-7 days to work. Because of this, I typically recommend waiting at least 1 week to correct any asymmetry with injection, and prefer to wait up to two weeks. At that point, you can be sure that what you are correcting is an actual asymmetry and that you are not "chasing your...
