Does Dysport have its maximum effect after 7 days?

Some patients can begin to see improvement from a Dysport treatment after just a few days, but it can take longer in others.  I normally tell my patients to wait 2 weeks to see the full effects from a Dysport treatment.

Each product will affect each person a bit differently. While Dysport does set in a bit faster in many of my patients, it can take up to 2 weeks for any neurotoxin to take full effect. At this point, if any revision injections are necessary, they can be pursued.

Patience is key for now, and if you are still unsatisfied with your results after 2 weeks, you may return to your doctor or provider for further advice and care. I highly recommend only seeking treatments from a reputable board-certified facial plastic surgeon, particularly one with extensive experience with injectables. Such experts will know the best product to use, how much to use, and where to precisely inject them (while having an eye for facial symmetry and harmony) to achieve the most natural-looking results.

All patients are different.  Some patients see results in just a few days, others take much longer.  I tell my patients to be patient and wait 10-14 days before deciding anything about their injections.  At that point, we can make adjustments as needed.All the best,

Thank you for your question.  Results from Dysport, Xeomin, Botox and Jeuveau take 2-10 days to see a result, but we recommend that our patients follow up at two weeks to see the full effect.  I would recommend following up with your injector after two weeks.  

Everyone pacient may experience Dysport deferently, just as every injector may vary with placement of product and/or estimate of units needed per area. Dysport is fast acting, showing some results after 3 to 5 days. However, it can take up to two weeks to see full results. Depending on the area treated is maybe that you just need more units. Dysport is most commonly used for line between the eyebrows, forehead and crows feet. Side effects like feeling heaviness is common.

Many patients begin to see changes 5-7 days after their Dysport treatment. It is in full effect after 14 days and the results will gradually fade over 3 to 4 months.
