Does Dysport have its maximum effect after 7 days?

Does dysport definitely work faster in all patients? I was injected 6 days ago above the lip along with my friend. My friend is experiencing strange side effects (numbness heavy jaw etc) I can hardly feel any effects but can see a subtle change. I’m just wondering will I have reached full effect?

Some patients can begin to see improvement from a Dysport treatment after just a few days, but it can take longer in others.  I normally tell my patients to wait 2 weeks to see the full effects from a Dysport treatment.

Each product will affect each person a bit differently. While Dysport does set in a bit faster in many of my patients, it can take up to 2 weeks for any neurotoxin to take full effect. At this point, if any revision injections are necessary, they can be pursued.

Thank you for your question.  Results from Dysport, Xeomin, Botox and Jeuveau take 2-10 days to see a result, but we recommend that our patients follow up at two weeks to see the full effect.  I would recommend following up with your injector after two weeks.

Everyone pacient may experience Dysport deferently, just as every injector may vary with placement of product and/or estimate of units needed per area. Dysport is fast acting, showing some results after 3 to 5 days. However, it can take up to two weeks to see full results. Depending on the area treated is maybe that you just need more units.
