Uneven brows -should I wait 7-10 days and expect things to even out since I am only 4 days post Dysport or is the damage done?

I know it can be hard to wait it out but dysport often spreads evenly. You don't want to get over injected in an area that may even out by itself. In my opinion it is best to wait 10-14 days before any touch ups.

Neurotoxin takes 4-7 days to work. Because of this, I typically recommend waiting at least 1 week to correct any asymmetry with injection, and prefer to wait up to two weeks. At that point, you can be sure that what you are correcting is an actual asymmetry and that you are not "chasing your tail" so to speak with additional injections.

I always tell my patients to wait at least 10 days before making decisions about their injections as Botox will sometimes kick in asymmetrically.  Most people start seeing results after just two to three days, with maximum effects around 7-10 days. The effects typically last three to four months before the treatment starts to wear off, and the treatment is usually repeated in order to maintain the results.  If a patient still has concerns after two weeks, then they should consult with their physician injector to determine if a touch up is needed.All the best,

Thank you for your question.  Dysport, Xeomin, Botox and Jeuveau can take 2-10 days, and up to two weeks to see the full effect of the treatment.  I would recommend to wait a full two weeks and follow up with your provider for a possible touch up. 

It is sometimes normal to experience some asymmetry a few days after a Dysport injection as the product is starting to take effect.  I recommend waiting at least 10 days to determine the full effect of the injections.  If you are still concerned I would make an appointment with the doctor who did the injections to discuss.

I tell my patients to wait 2 weeks to see the full effects from a Dysport treatment.  Most people do begin to see some changes within a few days of the treatment, but the result can continue to change over a week or two.  If you still feel that your brows are uneven after 2 weeks, I would return to the physician who treated you.  It is possible that a minor touch up could be of benefit to you.  

It can take up to 14 days to see your final results from your Dysport treatment.  If after that time you have concerns, return to your injector for an evaluation.  A touch up can be done at that time if needed.

Dysport can set in unevenly, but this problem may resolve itself.  As it takes two weeks for the full results from Dysport to set in, I would recommend waiting until that point.  After the two weeks, if you still have concerns, I would recommend scheduling a follow-up with your provider to go over your results and get touch ups if necessary.  

It takes about 2 weeks to see the maximal effect from Dysport. I would not suggest any further treatment until that timeframe has passed. After 2 weeks if you are still unhappy see your specialist for further care. Best of luck to you.
