Will my droopy eyebrows fade away faster then waiting for the full effects to end? (Photos)

Question

I had a total of 79 units of Dysport 4 weeks ago for the first time. 39 to forehead. Included are photos of where they were injected and a photo of my drooping issue and a photo of me prior to treatment. Mainly my medial eyebrows are quite a bit further down then usual causing brow droop and much less arch then I'm used to. Do you think the heaviness and droop will dissipate faster then the 3-4 months? Thank you.

As we age, our eyelids naturally sag and droop. A combination approach would be best to see visible improvement. In terms of non-surgical treatment options, I would recommend a Chemical Brow Lift (using Botox, Dysport, Xeomin, or Jeuveau) and filler injections to rejuvenate the temples, eyebrow, eyelid, eye troughs, upper eye hollows, and forehead. I typically combine this with Ultherapy and thread lifting to lift the brow; RF and skin tightening laser treatments to stimulate collagen production and rejuvenate the skin; and laser or superficial RF devices for improvements in texture, color, and any crepey skin around the eyes as needed. If you have concerns, it is best to contact your provider for a proper assessment. In the future, I highly recommend only seeking treatments from a reputable, experienced injector. Such experts will know the best product to use for addressing your concerns, how much to use, and precisely where to place injections to achieve the most natural-looking results.

The effects of Dysport will wear off gradually over 3 to 4 months.  You should begin noticing the brow heaviness to improve over the next few weeks.  Contact your injector for an evaluation if you have concerns.

Hello and thank you for your question.  Dysport usually lasts about 3 months but can feel heavier or stronger the first few weeks.  Unfortunately, there is no way to reverse the effects or help to metabolize it faster.  However, moderate exercise regularly has been known to minimize the duration a bit.   Best of luck.

Typically if you have brow ptosis, this will improve is 2-4 weeks. Occasionally, additional Dysport can improve the drooping by placement in the depressor supercilii and/or orbicularis oris muscle. If there is absolutely no movement in the forehead, the chances of this rescue injection working is very low.
