I've been chewing for about alittle less than a year. Now that I've had the surgery I haven't had any nicotine/chewing tobacco and don't plan on having any (its been 3 days so far). I'm really worried though because I didn't completely quit until right after my surgery. The doctor asked me if I smoked and I said no, because I dont. I didn't know about the effects nicotine had on my blood circulation until right after the surgery. Do you think my graphs will be ok? Any

Answer: If you have questions after your surgery, it is best to ask your surgeon since your surgeon knows you best.
Even if it looks odd now I would give it a chance to grow out- it wouldn't be a good idea to get another surgery at this point anyways. Perhaps when all your hair grows out those spots will be covered, which could be what your physician is planning? Either way you'll just have to take their word...
Minoxidil should be fine to use past one month, provided that the healing process of your FUE has been fairly normal. A little irritation is a common side effect of it and if it doesn't bother you then it's nothing to worry about. But talking to your doctor about whether it's safe to start...
