i have had my fillers in my nose since june. i have gotten fillers in my nose about 4 times before and never experienced this. My nose is STILL red at the tip from where it was injected in JUNE. i asked my plastic surgeon if it was some for of necrosis and he said no. then i looked it up online and it might be something like hyperemia or something. if it is, how do i get rid of it????

Blindness is an extremely rare risk, especially in an experienced injectors hands. Before injecting the filler, the injector can pull back on the syringe to ensure he or she is not in a blood vessel. Also, it is usually OK to inject in the middle of the bridge to build it up.
