You ask an interesting question about ultrasound guided needle injections when non-surgical nose job procedures with gel fillers are performed. Generally, the arteries of the nose run along the side walls, not on the bridge. That said, some people have congenital abnormalities and the utility of ultrasound is an excellent question. Based on your photo, Adding filler to the upper 1/3 of your nose may cause your nose to appear as though it connects to your face at the level of your eyebrows, Which may be too high. Additionally, you appear to have an overprojected and droopy nasal tip appearance. I suspect rhinoplasty surgery for a smaller and less projected nasal appearance may be more aesthetically pleasing. Thank you for your question! Sincerely, Dr Joseph
Blindness is an extremely rare risk, especially in an experienced injectors hands. Before injecting the filler, the injector can pull back on the syringe to ensure he or she is not in a blood vessel. Also, it is usually OK to inject in the middle of the bridge to build it up.
Blindness is quite rare but it can happen. If you’re that worried about it just don’t get the procedure because ultrasound will really be of no help
Your concerns about safety during rhinoplasty are completely understandable. In recent years, there have been advances in rhinoplasty techniques to increase precision and reduce risks. One such technique is Ultrasonic Rhinoplasty, also known as "Piezo" or "Liquid Rhinoplasty."Ultrasonic Rhinoplasty uses ultrasonic energy to precisely shape the nasal bones without damaging the surrounding soft tissue. This method is known for its precision and reduced trauma to the surrounding tissues, which in turn minimizes risks such as bleeding, bruising, and swelling post-surgery.However, it's important to note that while serious complications such as blindness are extremely rare in rhinoplasty, no surgical procedure is entirely without risk. The skill and experience of the surgeon play a crucial role in ensuring a safe and successful outcome.
In my opinion, there is not a predictable non-surgical approach to lift the nasal tip. You appear to have a pleasing nasal appearance, however, if the droopiness of your nasal tip after your trauma 8 years ago is bothering you, Rhinoplasty surgery may be considered for repairing this. I hope...
Hi, fillers CAN correct asymmetry in the nose seen from the side and from the front. Fillers always add to the nose. A rhinoplasty procedure can add or take things away. Every person's nose is unique, and so are their needs.
In our experience, small indentations that can result in the nose after nasal trauma may be well suited for microdroplet Silikon-1000 injections. An examination would be necessary to determine your candidacy. I hope this helps! Sincerely, Dr Joseph
