And which is better for this purpose? I'm a 22 female and next week I'll undergo buccal fat removal and neck/chin liposuction but I want to improve some details with dermal fillers
Answer: Jawline Definition / Jawline Enhancement / Facial Sculpting / Facial Contouring -- injectable fillers like Revanesse Versa For a more defined jawline to strengthen your profile (and help prevent the dreaded jawline "jowl" sagging), we use injectable fillers like Revanesse Versa - a filler known to limit swelling and give subtle, soft enhancements - or Radiesse. Using a cannula to limit pain and swelling, we inject on the bone in strategic points to get more lift and shaping, resulting in a more contoured lower face and defined, structured jawline. I would suggest getting a formal evaluation with a facial sculpting expert. Best, Dr. Emer

Answer: Discuss injectable fillers with your cosmetic surgeon. As you’re already planning some cosmetic surgery procedures, speak to the cosmetic surgeon you’re working with to find out what they would recommend in terms of injectable fillers. Aside from your existing plans, an accurate recommendation is almost impossible based on a single photo and inaccurate information won’t help you at all. Either speak to your cosmetic surgeon at your next appointment or contact them sooner to discuss your interest in injectable fillers and identify which is most appropriat

Answer: Filler for chin and jawline After your surgery , your doctor can evaluate what your needs are. I prefer Radiesse dermal filler for chin and jawline revision. I find it more malleable than the HA fillers, meaning I can sculpt it more easily. I find the HA fillers to not mold as well. And, HA fillers only last 6 months where Radiesse lasts a year, sometimes 18 months.

Answer: Chin augmentation with filler injection Both Juvederm Voluma and Radiesse work well for chin augmentation. Voluma is a hyaluronic acid filler while Radiesse is made of calcium hydroxyapatate. It is really physician preference that will determine which filler is used. My preference is Voluma.

Answer: Chin augmentation and jawline contour Non-surgical chin augmentation can be achieved with dermal fillers. Radiesse and Voluma can be used for this purpose, but I personally prefer Juvederm ultra plus in this area. It has a lower G prime (less viscous) than Voluma, which is why I like it for this area. I prefer HA (Hyaluronic acid) fillers for injection into the chin over Radiesse because HA fillers are reversible if it is too much. Also, Botox is great for sharpening the jawline. Just a small amount along the jaw can define the jawline and improve contour.
