Juvederm could possibly help to soften the crease but it will not take the crease away. Without seeing a picture or you in person, it's hard to say what the best treatment options would be. I suggest a consultation with an expert injector and/or a place that offers procedures that will help reduce your double chin which will then reduce the crease you are seeing.
Thank you for your question. It is difficult to suggest a treatment without seeing photographs. If submental fat also known as the double chin is your primary concern this can be addressed with liposuction or Kybella which is an injectable medication that is FDA approved to reduce submental fat and improve jawline contour. I would recommend an in person exam to determine your candidacy. Best wishes.
Double chins need fat removal and/or implants, but fillers can be used on jawline and chin to give it projection. This will not help the double chin fat however. Best, Dr. Emer.
Kybella is the right answer in this region for an injectable treatment . Juvederm increases volume and you do not want to increase volume underneath your check this will make your double chin worse . The two best options in this region are kybella as an injectable and liposuction as a surgical treatment.
Thank you foryour question. Fillers such as Juvederm may not be the best option as itincreases volume on the areas injected. Kybella is the first and only FDAapproved and non-surgical treatment for double chin. When Kybella is injectedinto the skin, it destroys fat cells under the chin“melting” the fat and leaving the jawline more contoured. The results can beseen within 4 – 6 weeks and last for years. I recommend you consult with anexpert to determine the best treatment plan for you. Best of Luck!
Thank you for your question. It is difficult to comment without seeing a photograph. Juvederm may help to soften the crease, depending on your goals and expectations. You may be a better candidate for Kybella or liposuction. Please be sure to see an expert injector for an in-person consultation to fully discuss your goals and expectations in order to determine the best treatment plan. Hope this helps and best wishes!
If you pinch the "double chin" area between your fingers and if you can feel a fullness, then the problem involves excess deposition of fat which creates the double chin. A procedure to reduce the fat can be done with Kybella injections, dermal radiofrequency procedures or liposuction. If you don't feel a fullness but just loose excess skin then a procedure to tighten the skin such as ULTHERA, Profound radiofrequency or a surgical neck lift would be needed. Fillers probably won't sovle the problem.
It is difficult to make recommendations without seeing in person or without a photo. However my inclination would be towards no. I don't think adding additional volume under your chin will improved the appearance of your double chin and may very well worsen your appearance. If you are looking to get rid of the double chin there are a few options including coolsculpt mini, Kybella, or Precision TX with lipo just to name a few. I would find an expert in your area to discuss the best options to address your concern.
It is very hard to say what would be best for you to meet your cosmetic goal of removing the line that results from a double chin without seeing you. There are a few treatments that would likely be of benefit. You could potentially decrease your double chin in an effort to reduce the crease. This is normally done with Kybella or liposuction. Fillers can also be used. Juvederm is a reasonable filler to use as a test to see if it works and if you like the results since it will last only up to 12 months. I usually recommend a permanent filler like Bellafill after once you know what works for you so that you do not have to keep coming back and you avoid the risks that can occur with repeated filler injections over the years.I hope that helps.Best regards.
Radiesse and voluma work well in the chin area and have reasonable longevity - an experienced injector can place in the lateral portions of chin area to achieve a more proportional appearance. If you like the look after placing the fillers, down the line you might consider a chin implant if y...
Visual disturbance is an extremely rare, but possible complication of dermal filler injection to the upper face. It occurs when the product is inadvertently injected into an artery, with the theory being that the product 'plug' then causes disruption of blood flow to the eye. The anatomy...
Thank you for your question addoos. I understand your concern. Voluma is a filler used to enhance the appearance of the face. Bruising occurs in places where a needle is inserted. Depending on the technique, the needle may be inserted in various areas. Sometimes I inject at a specific point and...
