Is it normal for Fat Transfer not to take? (Photo)

Thank you for your question, I am sorry that you are not happy with your results. Harvesting is important to fat transfer. I use water-assisted fat harvesting which gives pure fat to transfer and combine with platelet rich plasma (PRP) to get the most viable and sustainable fat cells. This can be combined with Sculptra and/or implants to get desired results, if necessary. The downside about Facial Fat Transfer is that everyone's body metabolizes it differently and it is harder to control where the fat takes and doesn't take. I recommend getting a formal evaluation with a facial sculpting expert. if the fat transfer not taking is your biggest concern then you should count your blessings. Too much of the fat survived and you're posting how it can be removed then you're in trouble with a few options. Dr. Lambros is 100% spot on. Stay with fillers and be happy.Check out Dr Mabrie in San Francisco. well, that's the trouble with fat grafting. Sometimes it works and sometimes not. Nanofat doesn't have a long track record as of yet......and people claim that it lightens skin....which I  think is premature and unproven. For isolated procedures I prefer fillers rather than fat grafting. There is more certainty of the result. This kind of fat grafting can be done as an office procedure under local quite easily.
