you should wait 10-14 days to exercise.fat should be purified and mixed with PRP to get the best outcome, when its purifed its more golden and the blood, oil, debris and tissue is washed away. most doctors do not do this which costs more money and takes more time and the reinject fat that has a lot of impurities. This puts you at risk for infection but also the viability and long term outcome is much less. Best, Dr. Emer.
Great question- usually 7-10 days after fat transfer to the face, it all depends on how much swelling you have and you also have to listen to your body. If you feel straining in your face or donor site while exercising, then you probably aren't ready yet. The reason for waiting if allowing you time to rest and heal, allow the majority of swelling to subside and decrease any potential bleeding or bruising.
I recommend waiting 2-3 weeks for both of these after facial fat transfer. Although it is a quick procedure under local, the most important factor is taking care of your face after the procedure to maximize graft take. Please see attached video.
sharktank22Good question. I recommend waiting 2 weeks after fat transfer to the face prior to returning to heavy exercise and cardio. This will allow time for primary swelling to resolve and your body to heal. I then recommend starting off slowly and working back up to your normal exercise routine. Consult with a board-certified plastic surgeon in our area to evaluate the best options for you. Good luck.
Two weeks is about right. No open areas, no risk of bleeding. Expect swelling in the surgery areas the first few months of exercise.Dr. Zenn
For all facial procedures, I advise waiting a minimum of two weeks for exercise. The same would be applicable to sauna. You should follow your plastic surgeon’s protocol.
In general, the arms are not the best donor site. Additionally, pregnancy weight gain and loss can affect the surgical outcome. If you desire more volume in your face, consider filler at this point in your life. Best wishes.
It is hard to appreciate the fullness below the lip on the left. The left lip itself is fuller on the left than the right so some filler would equalize that. As for the fullness you see, the fat may have been placed below the lip intentionally or accidentally. It is not likely that it mi...

Thank you for your question and photos. While it is difficult to make an assessment from pictures alone, it does appear you are a good candidate for temporal augmentation. I like to use Sculptra and have had great success in this area as it stimulates collagen production and has long lasting...
There is really no great resolution for this. I think a lot of the issues is the lighting you are in. although I do notice enlarged cheeks. if this truly is fat then its hard to reverse. Kybella, steroid/5fu injections, and now people are using ultherapy (numerous pulses) and morpheus (deep ...
