I had a breast augmentation 8 mths ago with gummy silicone. The pain is only there when I push in that one area when I push in the one direction (outside to inside) and has been there since the start. Is this something that is part of the recovery process?
Answer: Soreness Typically at eight months post op you are fully healed. If you are experiencing pain still it is best to review everything with your surgeon to ensure there are no concerns. She/He is most familiar with the details of your surgery and how you've been progressing through recovery.

Answer: Pain Dear taichan, I understand your concern. However, without a proper assessment, it would be difficult to determine what went wrong. It is best that you visit your plastic surgeon for further assessment or ask for a second opinion. Only after a thorough examination, you can get proper recommendations and advice. Answer: Is it normal for one breast to be sore/painful when I push from the outside in? Some discomfort or soreness is common after breast augmentation, and it’s not uncommon for one breast to feel more sensitive than the other. However, persistent or severe pain should be discussed with your surgeon as it could indicate various factors, including inflammation, muscle tension, or other issues. It’s important to differentiate between normal healing sensations and signs of potential complications. If you have concerns about pain or any changes in your breasts after augmentation, reach out to your plastic surgeon promptly for an evaluation and recommendations tailored to your specific situation.
