Hello, you need to allow your wounds to heal over the course of 1 year. Patience is key. You should be using a silicone based scar therapy system to help improve the final result of your scar.Best of luck!Alex Zuriarrain, MDCleveland Clinic Trained Plastic Surgeon

Dear queenbee19,it is hard to tell for sure, but based on your photos, your scars look normal. If you have any concerns, I suggest you to consult your plastic surgeon. It's not unusual for one incision to heal a little differently than the other. Both appear to be healing appropriately for six weeks post op. Continue to follow up with your surgeon and discuss any concerns.
Thank you for your question as well as providing photos. I'll start by saying if there is a concern with the incision, you should set up a visit with your Board Certified Plastic Surgeon, especially if the implant is compromised. It appears that the incision is fine, and closed, however an in person visit is preferred, especially at 6 weeks post-op. The tissues are everted during closure, and there is still swelling present. Over time the scar will continue to heal, and flatten. Some areas will heal quicker than others, and that is normal. If down the road there is a concern about a scar, it is possible to revise, however that will most likely not be necessary, and you will not know until at least 6 months post op. Good luck and best wishes!
Based on your photos, your incision appears to be healing well. Feeling bumps along the incision is normal with the healing process and can be a combination of scarring and swelling. With time, this will soften and flatten out on its own. Performing scar therapy such as massaging and silicone topical gel or adhesive strips can help mature the scar.
Thank you for your question. Your incision healing well per picture and will flatten out more with time. Please follow up with your PS
It's very unusual to have an air bubble 9 months after surgery. it may still be normal but I would recommend you follow up with your surgeon.Best Regards,Dr. Michael Gartner

It is unusual for the incision to be separated and drainage to appear. Please follow your surgeon's instructions or get a second opinion.
A revision is needed in order to correct the nipple position. If desired you can elect to exchange the implants at that time to get you closer to the volume and look you are wanting. I encourage you to visit with your surgeon to discuss your concerns and learn more about your options.
Generally dramatic color changes such as purple, black, or white, and numbness or tingling indicate various possible issues of blood supply being compromised. Other than being uncomfortable and looking unusual, this is a big deal because it indicates that your nipples/areolas might...
Thank you for sharing your question and photographs and I am sorry to hear of your poor outcome and healing difficulties. Unfortunately a surgical revision will not be possible until your tissues have fully healed, namely when the q-tip no longer travels underneath the skin. Hang in there an...
