6 week post op , I noticed lumps on my right side breast incision. My left side looks nothing like it. I will be reaching out to my PS, but still would like to hear opinions.

Answer: BA incision Dear queenbee19, it is hard to tell for sure, but based on your photos, your scars look normal. If you have any concerns, I suggest you to consult your plastic surgeon. Answer: Scar - Recovery Thank you for your question as well as providing photos. I'll start by saying if there is a concern with the incision, you should set up a visit with your Board Certified Plastic Surgeon, especially if the implant is compromised. It appears that the incision is fine, and closed, however an in person visit is preferred, especially at 6 weeks post-op. The tissues are everted during closure, and there is still swelling present. Over time the scar will continue to heal, and flatten. Some areas will heal quicker than others, and that is normal. If down the road there is a concern about a scar, it is possible to revise, however that will most likely not be necessary, and you will not know until at least 6 months post op. Good luck and best wishes!
