Question

I wanted to know if it looks infected. My doctor said to let it drain itself and just to apply a cream he gave me so I won't get an infection, but every time I put a gauze it sticks. When I have to remove it to clean it, I start draining and blood comes out, just a little spitting. How is it supposed to dry if it keeps draining small amounts?

It is not normal to have incision drainage at this time, but if handled appropriately, these issues usually resolve without significant problems.  Make sure to keep in close contact with your PS as you are healing so that he/she can see your progress and make recommendations on wound care as needed.  Best of luck!

It is unusual for the incision to be separated and drainage to appear. Please follow your surgeon's instructions or get a second opinion.

it is hard to tell for sure, but based on your photos, it looks like you have small wound separation and your wound is draining. This type of trouble can occur sometimes and in most cases it ends well. I suggest you to follow your surgeon's advice and keep your wound clean and covered. If you have any concerns, I suggest you to consult your plastic surgeon.

From the photo it appears you have a small wound.  At four weeks post op it is not common to have new drainage.   Continue to follow your surgeon's advice and notify him of any changes or concerns.
