I had the bellesoma method done in 8/18, I regret every second of it. I went from a D to perhaps an A, with mismatched nipples and horrific scars. I’ve had 3 surgeries since then because of issues. I’m having to take gabapentin twice daily and a pain pill once daily. I just want to look normal again and no more pain!
Answer: Unhappy with Breast Procedure Sorry that you have had such a difficult time. I absolutely agree that the first thing you should do is to heal fully, and I agree with the 6-12 month time frame before considering any further surgery. Also, you need to recover and become strong. I would be very cautious about operating electively on a patient taking gabapentin for post surgical pain. If you haven't already done so I would suggest you see a pain specialist.Best of Luck, Dr. Romanelli.

Answer: What can be done to fix my breasts after a failed Bellesoma procedure? Thank you for sharing your question and photographs and I am sorry to hear of your poor outcome and healing difficulties. Unfortunately a surgical revision will not be possible until your tissues have fully healed, namely when the q-tip no longer travels underneath the skin. Hang in there and seek out second opinions to ensure no debridement of tissue is required to speed healing.

Answer: What can be done to fix my breasts after a failed Bellesoma procedure? I'm sorry to hear about your concerns after breast surgery. At this point, given everything you have been through, it may be in your best interest to avoid any further surgery for now. At some point, it will be important to review your past surgical history and determine the cause of ongoing discomfort; understanding the procedure performed will hopefully allow for planning to improve your situation. Also, waiting for a few additional months will allow for you to evaluate the final aesthetic outcome achieved and determine how to achieve an outcome that you would be happier with. When the time is right, careful communication of concerns/goals (with your carefully selected plastic surgeon) will be key. Best wishes.

Answer: Revision Question Good morning!I think first things first you really have to get your open wounds healed. Then I would wait a full 6-12 months for the scar tissue to soften up before going back, revising your lift which will probably mean adding the vertical component that was left out earlier, revising your nipples so they match, and perhaps a High Profile or HP Xtra implant for some projection- you look really broad and flat now.

Answer: Breast Augmentation Based on these recent photos which I imagine is after your third revision , you are coming along. As far as nipple shaped symmetry that can be improved with minor touch ups in the future, say 8 months from now.Overall you are heading in the right direction. One photo with the q tip at the incision site is worrisome.Hopefully you dont have an issue with an exposed breast implant. Best advice.......give everything some time to settle...6 months say....send us some more photos, and a second round of opinions can be had. Good luck to you....and dont worry....things will settle.
