Is this rippling or an imprint from bra? (photos)

Hello! I am 6 dpo and so far have been very pleased with my results. Today I was informed that I could start light massages and I saw this... I haven’t seen before. It didn’t seem to stretch out no matter how I moved. Is this rippling or an imprint from the bra??

Hi stacey1485, I understand your concern. Based on your photos, it appears that the imprints on your skin is most likely related to breast swelling and wearing of bra. However, it would still be best to visit your plastic surgeon for proper assessment. Only after a thorough examination you will get more information and recommendations.

Rippling may be observed in both saline and silicone implants. This may be more prominent in saline implants, but rippling usually occurs after a period of years after breast augmentation as the breast tissue is thinned by the implant. Silicone is regarded to have less rippling.  In addition, gummy bear implants do not have the issues of rippling and should be considered for any patient who has rippling issues.Observing the alignment of the hooks on the bra in your photos, I tend to think that the lines are imprints from the garment.

Keep in mind that your plastic surgeon will always be your best resource when it comes to reliable assessment, advice, and meaningful reassurance.
