Hi, in the past 6-12 months I have noticed this lax looking skin and loss of definition in the area. It looks worse when I turn my head. I am 36. What is it and what non surgical options do I have? Thanks!
Answer: Non surgical options for Neck/chin/jaw changes? Thank you for your photos. I would always recommend to do an in person consultation. However, I would recommend either FaceTite or 3 morpheus treatments that would help with collagen and elasticity production. Both treatments are minimally invasive. Good Luck!

Answer: Fillers Can Help Shape & Contour The Jawline & Improve Submental Laxity The use of a robust HA filler can be used along the jawline, which can not only better define and straighten the jawline itself, but secondarily tighten somewhat the under chin/upper neck region. The skillfull use of less robust HA fillers may additionally be used directly into the submental/upper neck region should additional improvement be desired. I have personally found, Profhilo, a unique HS biomodulating injectable, can work quite well for the kind of laxity shown in the photo Unfortunately, this product is not available in alll areas. Make sure to consult with an experienced, board certified cosmetic dermatologist Hope this helps.

Answer: Skin Tightening for the Neck -- Kybella, Ultherapy, Thermage, PDO NovaThreads vs VASER Hi-Def, ThermiRF, Renuvion, BodyTite A combination approach would give the most improvement. Nonsurgical options such as Kybella, PDO NovaThreads, and Ultherapy do well in combination for skin tightening, but the results are mild compared to surgical options. I suggest seeing a board-certified cosmetic dermatologist to develop a personalized treatment plan that works for you. Best, Dr. Emer.

Answer: Neck laxity From the photos, it looks like your issue is not so much with the skin but with the prominent platysma muscles. A simple non-surgical treatment is to inject a little botulinum toxin into the bands. This is off label but is a commonly performed procedure. You do need to get the injections regularly to keep it up but at least it's not surgery.
