10 days post-op. Whats the crease in middle of stomach and belly button appearance? (photos)

I had a tummy tuck liposuction in my stomach breast lift and breast augmentation 10 days ago. I'm having burning in my left upper side and I'm still in significant amount of pain. What's really bothering me is there's a crease below my belly button as seen in the picture that just won't go away. also my belly button is so tiny and then there's a piece of skin hanging over the top is this all normal 10 days post-op? My plastic surgeon says it's swelling and my skin will settle out....

Hello. Great question. Congratulations on your procedure. You are still very early in your recovery process. There is still swelling present and your incisions have yet to be healed. It can take up to six months for all the swelling to go down. Keep following your surgeon's instructions.

At this stage it is not possible to make definitive assessments on the results. There is still swelling and things will settle down considerably as time passes. If you have concerns you should be talking to your plastic surgeon who should be making himself or herself available to you for this purpose.

mbase11 I appreciate your concern, however it is still extremely early in your postoperative recovery journey from mommy makeover surgery. It appears from your photographs that you are still quite swollen and this most likely is contributing to the issues you are describing and showing. As the swelling resolves, these issues should also settle down. Try to stay patient and positive and follow up with your plastic surgeon. Good luck.

You are still early on the healing process, it can take up to six months to see your final results, so please be patient. At the stage you are in, inflammation is normal.
