Why do I have creases above side of lips after Juvederm injections? (photos)

These are the normal lip up turned corners.  The reason you notice them more is because the upper lip it too large for your normal slim facial structure.  The best treatment would be to decrease the size of your upper lips.  I suggest seeing a facial contouring specialist for an evaulation.  Best, Dr. Emer.

You have common creases on your lateral upper lip which can be corrected. A small amount of juvederm ultra can be injected into those creases (not into the body of your lips) to soften them. Good luck!

How long ago was your injection? If it was very recent, the crease may be due to swelling but this generally goes away within a week. If it persists for more than a week, it is most likely due to the filler. It does not look bad enough for me to recommend using Hyaluronidase. To avoid this next time, you should show these photos to your MD and instruct him to use less fillers especially near the corners of the mouth.
