Liquid facelift side effects. Is this a botched procedure?

What you are experiencing is normal 2 days after a liquid facelift. It is common to have swelling, tenderness and irregularities. Around the 2 week mark you should be able to start seeing the final result and be mostly healed. If you are experiencing hard lumps more than 2 weeks post treatment, it's best practice to return to the provider that did your treatment for assessment.

Hello,It is not unusual to experience some swelling and to feel some lumpy inflamed areas after filler treatments for a few days. However, visible, large lumps and excessive soreness are best evaluated by your physician. It's really hard to answer this without a photo.  But depending on the type of fillers that you received, you may feel some small lumps for about 1-2 weeks as the product integrates into your tissue.  At this point, it's really best to call your injector and ask them this question.  I hope this helps!~Gregory A. Hello,Thank you for your question. It is common to have some bumps and swelling a few days after the treatment. If you had Sculptra make sure you are massaging those bumpy areas. If you had something like Radiesse, that's just how it swells and it will take about a week for it to subside. If you are still concerned make sure to reach out to your doctor. Good luck! 

It's not unusual to have swelling and/or bumps following your procedure.  If there was bruising involved, these side effects may be more pronounced.  Being that what you are describing is only two days post-treatment, this is not too concerning.  However, it's always recommended that you follow up with your  injector who knows you best and may offer appropriate feedback.  Additionally, performing diligent and consistent massaging following a Sculptra treatment is a  must to help avoid future lumps or uneven results.  Please see below link:

You should expect to have some lumps 2 days after the liquid face lift. Based on your description, I do not see anything to suggest this is a botched procedure. I would suggest you see your injector in two weeks and/or communicate with them now about your concerns. 
If you had your liquid face lift performed with Sculptra then you should be massaging 5 times a day for 5 minutes for 5 days. However, you should check with your injector before doing any massaging and confirm the instructions.

Unfortunately there is not enough information to really answer your question. The first question I have is which products were used on the cheeks? It is normal to have some soreness and swelling after fillers, and swelling can make an area feel firm. Without knowing which fillers you had, it's hard to give a detailed answer. Some fillers tend to have more swelling associated with them than others, and temporary swelling is a normal part of the healing process. Mild soreness is also normal, and if you happened to have bruising during the procedure, you may have relatively more soreness, which would be expected to resolve as the bruise heals. 2 days is too early to judge whether or not it was a "botched procedure". It would also be useful to know how much filler was placed in each area, as the more that was used, the longer you may feel some of the soreness and swelling.

Thank you for sharing your question and I am sorry that your current results have not been what you anticipated.  Without photographs before and after treatment it is difficult to offer definite advice, but it is not uncommon for the fillers placed into your cheeks to be sore and swollen for the first 2-3 weeks.  If you have genuine concerns revisit your injector and voice your concerns, they can offer you the best reassurances.

At two days post liquid facelift, this is completely normal. Not sure what filler was used but most contain hyaluronic acid which attracts about 1000x it's weight in water. This translates to swelling and firmness where it was injected. The filler gradually settles over the course of 4-6 days and gradually softens. If you have further concerns I would follow up with your injector.
