My doctor recommended getting crows feet with glabella, Ive never had signs of crows feet, but smiled with my eyes narrowing, making my smile younger/genuine. I got the treatment twice. Since I couldn’t smile with the side of my eyes my undereyes would overcompensate making undereyes more prominent. Its been a year. Ive tried really hard to smile with the side of my eyes, I still smile with my undereyes instead. Can botox change the face dynamics permanently because the side were to weak prior?

Answer: This type of "muscle training" would require more treatments to take effect Thank you for your question! The effects of Botox are temporary and typically only last three to four months. After using Botox continuously over the course of many years, it’s possible to weaken the targeted muscles and “train” them to not make those wrinkle-forming movements. However, that wouldn’t happen after only two treatments. I recommend discussing any concerns with your injector, who can best help you with your aesthetic goals. Good luck!

Answer: Botox Hello, and thanks for your question. Although botox generally wears off in 4-6 months in most people, botox can last a long time in some people, even up to a year. Botox is not known to change your facial dynamics permanently. Keep an eye on it and if it still hasn't gone away after another 6 months, go back to your surgeon and see what your options are. Please see a board-certified surgeon for best results. Best of luck to you!
