For unique cases where a variety of modalities could be used to treat the condition, I would suggest an in-person or virtual consultation to develop a custom and effective treatment plan. It is difficult to precisely define the best option without collecting the same information. I suggest reaching out to an expert for a consultation with surgical and non-surgical methods to get a comprehensive option. Best, Dr. Emer.
Hello, and thank you for providing images along with your question. While Botox will do a good job at smoothing out lines, dermal fillers may be a better choice for filling in dents and depressions. Hyaluronic acid (HA) fillers can be injected into areas of the forehead which require additional volume. If you are using fillers to address lines and wrinkles, your surgeon will inject them directly into the wrinkle to plump up the skin. For forehead contouring, fillers will be injected at marked areas to achieve your desired shape. Botox may be injected as well to enhance and prolong your overall results. Injectables to the forehead area require skill and experience. This is why I highly recommend only seeking treatments from a reputable experienced injector who knows how much product to use and where to precisely inject it to safely achieve the most natural-looking results.
Thank you for sharing your question and posting your photos. It appears that Botox will partially correct your problem. Fillers are not well suited for that area. Make an appointment with an oculofacial surgeon for in person evaluation and proper guidance. Good luck!
Hello @aimes2606 thank you for your question. In the frown line between the eyebrows, many times when we make a strong frown, sometimes is repeatedly that seems to be the cause. However, without a proper assessment an expert opinion is not possible. The best course of action is to consult one or several board certified plastic surgeon for more information and recommendations. Best wishes! Alan Gonzalez MD FACS
The depression is best treated with volume. Submuscular placement would be ideal but there are risks with vascular structures that can be mostly avoided by an experienced provider in this area.Juvederm Volift or similar products in physical characteristics would be ideal and will likely last 18+ months, depending on technique and experience of the injector. This is something we do many times daily but we are always respectful of the risks.Good luck in UK.
This frontal condition (skeletal conformation) for sure cannot be solved with botox . HA filler or Radiesse could be both good options. Anatomically it’s a risky area for the presence of big veins an a lot Of superficial arteries but not a problem for an expert doctor (suggested the use of a cannula instead of needles).
It appears that you have excessive Muscles of frowning. Botox looks like the best option for you, just make sure you go to Plastic surgeon who understand your concerns and will give you a good physical examination. I hope this helps and good luck from New York City plastic surgery
Hello and thank you for your question. It is always best to see you face to face for a consult and examination however in this case filler would be your best option however as you say it is a risky area. You would want to see a very experienced clinician to inject this area. I hope that helps answer your question. Always seek an experienced and qualified medical professional for these treatments. Very best wishes
What you have is a significant separation of the frontalis muscles. However, Botox will not reduce the muscle enough to make a significant difference. Filler will fix this. Make sure you see an expert as this is an unusual problem.
Hello and thank you for your question. The bulge above your brow is difficult to evaluate without a proper face-to-face evaluation. If the concern is muscle-related, additional Botox may be used to address the issue. I highly recommend only seeking treatments from a reputable experienced...
I recommend fillers to soften the nasolabial folds themselves and also lift around the mouth and cheeks to build underlying anatomical support. In our practice we combine Sculptra with other fillers "layered" on top and lasers, skin tightening treatments such as Thermage, Fractora, and Renuvion...
It is safe to inject botox in the platysmal bands in the neck. This relaxes the pulling on the neck and helps the muscle to lay down again. There is a risk that if injected into the wrong muscle group it could make the neck flexers weak and the muscles that control swallowing weak. It takes many...
