I've had a trim labiaplasty + clitoral hood reduction in 2019 & I'm not satisfied with the results: 1- The edges of the labia minora Are scalloped. 2- The right labium is more "trim" than the left. 2- The hood looks overexposed, uneven, and show stretches. 3- There is some excess skin near the perineum that I want to be smoothed out. Overall, I'm wondering about the estimated cost + recommended procedures (surgery, RF needle, etc) to fix this! Thank you in advance!
Answer: Revisions for Labia and hood Hello. I can see the bumpy edges and asymmetry that is bothering you. A proper revision would include skin resurfacing with RF, further reduction of the hood on the larger side and resection of the extra perineal skin. Please note revisions should only be handled by surgeons well experienced in revising aesthetic vaginal procedures. With that in mind, I recommend you to be willing to travel and to have at least 3 consultations. Also, the cost for revision should be several thousand more than the original procedure as you will want to have great results which will come from an expert which costs more. There will be scar tissue and finessing to be done to achieve the results you desire.Best wishes.~Dr. Poucher

Answer: A well thought out and executed procedure would fix this. Sorry about your funky results as a result of technique at the time of your original surgery. You have asymmetry, scalloped edges and your hood is off to one side. This can be fixed in one surgical setting. The key, though, is finding the right surgeon and for this you may need to travel. Go to the link below to see hundreds of B/A photos with combination labiaplasty and hood reduction. From that link you may schedule a virtual consult via phone or zoom, at which time we can discuss in-depth your anatomy, expectations, and concerns. Women from all over the world travel to my Center for their Intimate Makeover under local anesthesia. Best of luck,

Answer: Labia reconstruction As the inventor and innovator of the wedge technique in 1994, I reconstruct many women who have had labia reductions by other surgeons, both wedge and trimming techniques. The reconstruction technique depends on the deformity. The reconstruction is more difficult than a primary labiaplasty and should be done by a plastic surgeon with extensive experience in labia reconstruction. I published the first and most extensive paper on labia reconstruction in the prestigious journal "Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery" about ten years ago, and about 40% of my female genital surgeries are reconstructions of botched labiaplasties. You will need various reconstructive techniques to give you a good appearance. I probably would recommend using multiple wedge excisions to reduce your labia, eliminate many of your scallops, and improve symmetry. You only get one good chance to reconstruct you, so be patient and ask a lot of questions. Gary J. Alter, M.D. Beverly Hills, CA - Manhattan, NYC - Dubai, UAE

Answer: Labiaplasty scalloping I can clearly see the areas of concern you are describing. Yes, radio frequency feathering of the scalloped edges would help achieve your goals. You may also need excision in addition but that would be decided by an exam. Not every cosmetic surgeon is able to do this so you must search for an experienced surgeon.
