Looking at the ideal implant 200cc under the muscle. I'm 5'7, 125 lbs. Worried I will be too big, Advice?

You need a face to face consultation to determine which size of implant you need to achieve the look that you want.

Generally speaking I would consider  to use a 220 to 240 cc sub muscular for a B cup, 265 to get to a small C.

Hard to answer this just based upon your photos and without an in person exam and specific breast measurements. Remember that there is no direct correlation between implant size (cc's) and cup size. Best option is to choose a board certified plastic surgeon who actually takes the time to measure you and examine your breast pocket. Sizers will only give you a rough estimate. The goal of breast augmentation is to optimally fill your breast pocket, not to overstuff or understuff it. At my practice, we utilize a series of 5 breast measurements that help me determine the ideal implant size, which in turn helps me deliver a 24 hour recovery. Do your research and choose a surgeon who takes the time to sit down with you and discuss your goals/expectations to determine the best size for you. Good luck!!

Thank you for your question. "Tissue based planning" relies on your chest and breast measurements and is the safest way to ensure good long term results. Your surgeon should determine what size and projection are necessary to give you your desired result based on your body's measurements. Hello and thank you for your question.  As others here have said, 200cc may not be enough for your stated goals.  An exam in person would, of course, be of great benefit.  In our practice, we have the patient "try on" sizers in the office.  There are other ways to do this, but I find that process to be the most reliable for the patient and the physician.  Good Luck !

It is very difficult to determine the best lift you will need (recommended based on your photos) or the exact size and shape implant you will require to best match your ideal breast image without an examination by a board certified plastic surgeon. Not just any board certified plastic surgeon, but one with many years of frequently performing breast augmentation surgery including different approaches, techniques and implant choices. This is because several measurements not to mention your breast characteristics are needed to determine the optimal implant size to obtain your goals. Without knowing these dimensions it would be difficult to make this determination. For example, the existing base width of your breast will determine, in many cases, the maximal volume per implant profile that you can accommodate. To illustrate; a 100 cc difference may make a significant difference with a narrow base width breast, but much less of a difference if you have a wide chest wall and wide breast “foot print”. Therefore, just because your friend may have a great result with let’s say a 300 cc implant to make her go from a “A” cup to a “C” cup size does not mean that you will have the same result with the same size implant. The same process goes for just filling in the upper part of your breast without becoming much larger. Further simply placing implants in a bra to determine the size best for you is not always accurate as the bra often distorts the size, is dependent on the pressure the bra places plus the implant is outside your breast and not under it among other variables. Computer software morphing programs that automatically determine the best implant size can be helpful in some but not all cases (e.g. doesn’t work well in my experience with existing implants, sagging or asymmetric breasts). Using “want to be” photos however are useful if simply provided to the surgeon as I will further explain in the link below including silicone vs saline implants

Hello Babs! A 200 cc breast implant is pretty small and not likely to make you look too big. It probably represents a B cup in someone your size, but that's just a guess. Much of the decision-making for breast implant size is based on your anatomy and what will "fit" your chest measurements.  That being said, there is some room for upsizing or downsizing, and this is where it's important to discuss your goals with your plastic surgeon.  Many offices have sample implants you can place in a bra to get a sense of how they will look, and there are also 3D cameras available to model your postoperative appearance, which can be helpful.In order to get a qualified, ethical, and expert opinion on your surgical options and expectations, schedule an in-person consultation with a plastic surgeon certified by the American Board of Plastic Surgery.

Hello and thank you for your question.  The size, profile, and shape of the
implant is based on your desired breast size/shape, your chest wall
measurements, and soft tissue quality.  This decision should
be based on a detailed discussion with equal input from both you
and your surgeon.  This entire surgery
can be performed with a small incision technique.  Make sure you
specifically look at before and after pictures of real patients who have
had this surgery performed by your surgeon and evaluate their results.   The most important aspect is to find a
surgeon you are comfortable with. I recommend that you seek consultation with a
qualified board-certified plastic surgeon who can evaluate you in person.

While it is impossible to size you up with our an exam in person, and implants volumes do not match up to cup size exactly, I think that a 200 cc implant will not make a big difference.
