Hi! I am looking at getting a breast augmentation but I am petrified that I will end up too big. I am looking at the ideal implant size 200cc under the muscle. I am 5'7, 125 lbs and measured a width of 12.5. I know you cannot tell fully without an examination but I was just looking for some general advice. I am currently a 34 A and want a full B maybe small C. Any advice would be wonderful! Thank you!

Answer: Implant Size Choice Hello and thank you for your question. As others here have said, 200cc may not be enough for your stated goals. An exam in person would, of course, be of great benefit. In our practice, we have the patient "try on" sizers in the office. There are other ways to do this, but I find that process to be the most reliable for the patient and the physician. Good Luck !

Answer: BA size A to B thank you for your question. You need a face to face consultation to determine which size of implant you need to achieve the look that you want. Generally speaking I would consider to use a 220 to 240 cc sub muscular for a B cup, 265 to get to a small C. Regards Mr Netri

Answer: BA Size recommendations. Hard to answer this just based upon your photos and without an in person exam and specific breast measurements. Remember that there is no direct correlation between implant size (cc's) and cup size. Best option is to choose a board certified plastic surgeon who actually takes the time to measure you and examine your breast pocket. Sizers will only give you a rough estimate. The goal of breast augmentation is to optimally fill your breast pocket, not to overstuff or understuff it. At my practice, we utilize a series of 5 breast measurements that help me determine the ideal implant size, which in turn helps me deliver a 24 hour recovery. Do your research and choose a surgeon who takes the time to sit down with you and discuss your goals/expectations to determine the best size for you. Good luck!!

Answer: Breast Augmentation - Size Selection Thank you for your question. "Tissue based planning" relies on your chest and breast measurements and is the safest way to ensure good long term results. Your surgeon should determine what size and projection are necessary to give you your desired result based on your body's measurements. The best way to assess and give true advice would be an in-person exam. Please see a board-certified plastic surgeon that specializes in aesthetic breast surgery. Hope this helps and good luck with your surgery.
