Thanks for the question. In my practice, after performing a BA I recommend to my patients to limit the movement of the arms for two weeks. After that, you can move your arms taking care and always with common sense. In this regard, it's not advisable to carry heavy weights to prevent the implant out of position, and allow the formation of the physiological capsule around the implant, also to avoid pain and breast swelling. Kind regards
You are too early in your healing process so hard for anyone to comment about size or shape. I typically advise my patients to wait a good 4-6 months to allow all of the swelling to resolve and to let the implants drop and settle some. Good luck!
That is a very good question, but it is very hard to answer at this time because you are still very early in your post-op period. It could take up to six months for your implants to drop completely before your "final result". Your skin and muscles will relax and and this will translate into a fuller lower pole, giving way to a much more natural looking breast with more projection and a nicer overall look. From your photos it looks like you are doing very well and on your way for a great result. You will probably be very close to your desired size.Congratulations on your BA, best of luck on your recovery, and Happy Holidays!Dr. Miguel Mota
Thank you for your question. You are still early in the post-operative period. It appears you will have a very nice result. It typically takes 3 - 6 months for the swelling to subside and and implants to settle into proper position. Please discuss your concerns with your board certified plastic surgeon. Also, make sure you follow all of your plastic surgeons post-operative instructions regarding level of physical activity and use of a support bra. Hope this helps and good luck with your recovery.
Congratulations on your new breast augmentation! You look great and you do look like a small C cup in the photos. It looks like you're healing well so keep your appointments and address any questions to your plastic surgeon. Best wishes, Dr. Aldo
Congratulations on having undergone the breast augmentation procedure. In my practice, I ask my patients not to communicate their goals ( and/or evaluate the outcome of breast augmentation surgery) based on achieving a specific cup size. "Cup size communication" can potentially lead to misunderstanding and/or disappointment…Generally speaking, breast implants will "drop" into the pocket that was created during surgery. The rate of breast implant "settling" may depend on factors such as size of breast implant pocket dissected, tightness of the overlying skin/muscle layers, and size of breast implant utilized. Normally, it takes about 3-6 months (for some patients longer) to see the final result. Many of my patients report that as the swelling around the breast implants (for example, in the sternal area) decreases, they feel that their breasts appear more projecting (and that they have better "cleavage"). Also, in my opinion, the "drop and fluff” phenomenon does hold some validity; as breast implants “settle”, many patients feel that their breasts actually look larger. Similarly, it takes a few months for the breasts to "soften" in most cases. Most of my patients tell me that their breast implants feel "part of them" somewhere between 3 to 6 months after surgery was performed. There is definitely a physiologic and "psychological" (body image) adaptation process that occurs, at differing rates for every patient, for patients who undergo any type of aesthetic surgery, including breast augmentation surgery. Best wishes for an outcome that you will be very pleased with (regardless of specific cup size achieved).
It is too early into your recovery to determine. You will have to wait a minimum of 3-6 months for the breast to drop and settle to be properly fitted for size. Keep in mind that the breasts can still continue to have minor changes throughout the year.
Thank you for your question. As much as I appreciate how strongly you wish to have excessively large breasts ,I feel it is necessary to point out that you may regret that choice one day in the future. Being far out of normal proportioning can lead to patients regretting the decision and r...
I think that the higher the breast tissue to implant ratio there is the more natural it looks. Smallish implants + larger breasts = more natural for most. However, most aug patients have small breasts and want biggish implants.
Hello,You need an operation to clean out the blood. You are in jeopardy for almost certain capsular contracture or even an infection. The drain will clot, if it already hasn't, and increase the risk for translocation of bacteria into the implant pocket. If your doctor isn't an AB...
