I have read that a mesh reinforcement is not necessary in a traditional tummy tuck, however, I have also read that the mesh can help to give a better hour glass shape (as it acts like an inner corset). If I choose to have the mesh, I want to know what I'm in for. What are the negatives / side effects/ long term effects of using the mesh in a tummy tuck?

Signs of infection are usually redness, excessive warmth and possibly pus discharge in the affected area. Nausea is most likely caused by the medications you’re on. I suggest you ask your surgeon about this. An alternative pain medication may be prescribed.
