There should be no issue having a Sculptra treatment prior to pregnancy. You should be able to have your Sculptra treatment prior to trying to conceive.
Thank you for sharing your excellent question. Though there are not any safety studies to offer definite advice I see no reason that you can not have your Sculptra "booster" vial prior to conception, especially if planning for 3-4 months out. Hope this helps.
Sculptra treatments before pregnancy are safe and FDA approved. I typically create a treatment plan with my patients who are planning to conceive which involves treating with Botox, Sculptra and injectable fillers as the patient will be unable to be treated with this for 9 months after conception. The work must be completed before pregnancy. Best of luck.
Sculptra some months before your pregnancy will be fine. Great thinking for you to do some planning ahead.
Thank you for your question. Sculptra is FDA-approved and a purified treatment of poly-L-lactic acid. It should not conflict with your pregnancy. For more information, it is best to get a in person consultation with a board-certified dermatologist.
Having Sculptra treatments done before pregnancy is completely safe and FDA approved. And when you conceive, best wishes for a healthy pregnancy. Hope this helps
Thank you for your question. Sculptra is comprised of fine poly-L-lactic acid particles which stimulate the production of collagen. I don't see any problems with using Sculptra in the months prior to becoming pregnant. I hope this was helpful - Dr. Moore.
Thank you for your question. I don't think there is any reason to avoid Sculptra 3-4 months before getting pregnant. There are no reports in the medical literature of any adverse effects or complications due to Sculptra being administered to pregnant women. However, because it has never been formally evaluated for safety in pregnant or lactating women in a scientific study, most dermatologists and plastic surgeons do not recommend treatment while pregnant or breast feeding. Since you won't be trying to conceive for 3-4 months, I don't think there is a contraindication to treatment right now. I would recommend discussing further with your cosmetic dermatologist or plastic surgeon prior to your treatment. Best of luck!
It is usual to have swelling after Sculptra injections as it is mixed with sterile water as a diluent. Depending on the doctor's dilution, it would not be unusual to have received about 8cc of liquid per vial, or in your case 16 cc. Swelling typically resolved in less than a week as...
Presuming the Sculptra is not being used in the neck or areas where liposuction is being performed, there should be no interference between the two procedures and each could conceivably be performed together. If your doctor injecting Sculptra wished to enhance your...
Sculptra produces collagen which will last for 2 to 3 years and then you are back to your baseline. It is a very good option to maintain your facial volume. RegardsDr. J
