Revision Lipo with J plasma, recommended? (photos)

Question

I had a TT and lipo on my back, arms and inner thighs. I’m looking to have liposuction revision. I will be 1 year from my first procedure when I have the revision. Can I have J plasmas done with my revision to tighten the skin? I had a consultation with a Dr who said that J Plasma wouldn’t give me good results since I have already had work. Will I be wasting my money?

I specialize in fixing Liposuction defects. Ive been doing this for a few yrs and of 100's of cases that i have treated I have never had to use any invasive device for the skin. sometimes I use Fractional lasers to tighten the skin and that works. and thats not even that common. a yr is a good time to look into Revision surgeries. as the defects won't change after a yr.

It would be beneficial to know what areas you would like to revise. From a frontal perspective, you have a nice result.  Additionally, beware of gimmickry.  It is true that revision liposuction may not produce sufficient incremental gain. Discuss with your original surgeon who knows most about what has already been accomplished.

you did not mention what you don't like, what you were trying to achieve or what is being revised.  Anyone who spent $100,000 purchasing a J plasma device will recommend that you use it. Anyone who does not own the device will recommend that you don't use it.  That's it, self promotion based on equipment purchased.  If you have skin laxity then the use of J plasma will help.  How much is up to debate and time will tell.  If your skin is tight then J plasma is not needed.  If your skin is loose then without question adding radiofrequency treatment like J plasma will help.  Revision liposuction is difficult and often does not deliver what patients were hoping.  Best, Mats Hagstrom MD
