Can my bad liposuction be corrected? (Photo)

Question

My smart liposuction went bad, is it possible to fix it ? I don’t have a lot of fat, my stomach is fairly flat but since the procedure ( December 2015) I have this ugly bumps that make me feel so bad. ( picture attached) I live in Miami Florida and would love some professional and sincere advice. Thanks.

Dear, in order to get a smooth skin surface, a homogenous layer of fat tissue must remain and all excess skin be excised. In your case, I recommend to release the fibrotic scarring tissue and pull down your abdominal skin, stretching it. Best regards!

Pending a formal evaluation, you may be a good candidate for a Revision Liposuction. You need a formal evaluation by an expert in body shaping and contouring to determine what is best. 
The best in body contouring not only removes fat with energy devices like VASER ultrasound but also internally heats the skin with radiofrequency devices such as Renuvion (J-Plasma), InMode BodyTite, and ThermiRF to heat the undersurface of the skin and tighten it at the same time as fat removal. These combinations are called 4D HI-DEF VASER Liposuction and can only be done by a well-trained body contouring specialist. At the same time, fat should be harvested and purified, with PRP and stem cells added, and then injected into muscles, indentations and cellulite to get body shaping and contouring. Dear ljuse,
I would have to examine you but it appears that this is a contour irregularity after liposuction.  This happens often when areas the undergo liposuction are not feathered appropriately.
The good news is that it can be fixed and I have done so with good results before. The revision can often be done under local as well.
While there is always a chance for contour irregularities with liposuction, someone who takes their time and uses the appropriate sized cannulas should give you a superb result.I have all my patients wear compression garments and I use multiple sized cannulas to feather out the result.

Sorry for the irregularities of your liposuction. I have used a combination of techniques to improve the appearances of cases like yours. After in person examination I would operate using the SAFE lipo techniques for fibrosis correction with a drain. Than postop multiple external ultrasound with lymphatic massages. After 1 month+ inject a combination of Sculptra/ Juvederm to even out the results. Results can improve te appearances in many similiar cases.

revising or correcting it previously poorly done liposuction is possible especially in cases that have not been over treated.  In your case you may not yet perfection but some improvements can definitely be had.  I suggest following up with your plastic surgeon who I'm sure would be happy to do a revision for you.  People with mild skin laxity are more prone to contour irregularities.  People who have been over treated or in a more difficult position. Fat transfer tested not work well to correct previously excessive liposuction.  Best, Mats Hagstrom MD
