Is there any other way of removing some Voluma XC without using hyaluronidase?

There is no other method to remove Voluma, other than using hyaluronidase.  The results will dissipate over time, so if you do not want to use hyaluronidase, you can just wait for the fullness to gradually resolve.  

Hyaluronidase or Hylenex by it's brand name is the safest and most common way to dissolve HA Fillers. You may find after a few more weeks that the filler settles in and you may happy with your results.

The best way to dissolve filler is with hyaluronidase I recommend following up with your injector about your concerns. Hope this helps.

Hi and thank you for your question! As far as I know, there is no reliable way to remove/reduce hyaluronic acid fillers such as Voluma, other than injection of hyaluronidase. The injection is a relatively safe and simple procedure, and when the newer, recombinant variant is used, there is no need for allergy test. I cannot really recommend any treatments other than hyaluronidase injection to address your concerns with over-filling. I hope it helps and good luck! 

Except for waiting for the filler to naturally reabsorb on its own there is no other way to dissolve a hyaluronic acid filler other than Hyaluronidase.  It sounds like just a small amount of Hyaluronidase should be able to help fix this for you.  Best, Dr. Green

Thank you for your question. They remove it slightly with hylenex, but you can do it in small increments. Start with 10units then go up if needed. Do baby steps. Thats what I would recommend to all my clients if this were to occur. Hope this helps Dr. Thuy Doan, Atlanta
