Hi! I have extra skin above my upper lip. It looks like a little bump, and it is only on one side of my lips. It really annoy me, how could I remove it, or make it less appearent? Thank you
Answer: Cheek lift best option A small amount of filler will help to fill in the slight depression and shadow. This will be non permanent so if you do not like the results, they will eventually dissolve. This is quite a tricky problem to treat, but your best option might be a cheek lift which is a little more invasive but the scars will be in your hairline and inside your cheek so undetectable.

Answer: Lip Augmentation Thank you for your question. Direct lip lift removes tissue directly from above the upper lip line border. The end result is a slightly raised effect. I suggest that you move forward and consult with a board certified facial plastic surgeon. Best wishes,

Answer: Lip Asymmetry Cherry. I see what you mean. Physical exam would be helpful, but it appears that filler, like Juvederm Ultra plus in surrounding tissue would be your best option. Excision would leave a scar on your lip, which is NOT desireable! Be sure to consult with a board certified plastic surgeon. Good luck!

Answer: Lip Bump Hi there, thanks for the question and your photo. Even though a photo is extremely helpful, an in-person consultation would be the best way to approach this issue. From what I can see in the photo, there is what seems to be a "bump" which is creating a shadow between the bump and your lip. This can be fixed with a small amount of dermal filler to reduce the shadow and smooth out the upper lip. Hope this helps and thank you for the question. Good luck!

Answer: Upper lip issue Thank you for your question and for your photo. In office consultation is obviously the best way to examine and treat your specific question however, it does appear that you have a small amount of fat loss between the corner of your lip and some muscles that is creating a shadow. This can easily be fixed with a small amount of filler (juvederm or restylane) to reduce/resolve the shadow that is seen currently. I would recommend seeing a board certified facial plastic surgeon or board certified dermatologist who performs these procedures regularly for the best results! I hope this helps and good luck!
