The lip shape can be improved. Technique will be important here, so you will want someone meticulous. I recommend using cannulas with injections. These fillers, (Volbella, Restylane, Juvederm) are good to create a symmetrical and full lip. Implants or fat are alternative options. See an expert for a formal evaluation. Best, Dr. Emer
Thank you for sharing your question and photographs. I think you have a very nice upper and lower lip silhouette, with good overall volume. I would repost a question perhaps noting the specific area of your lip shape that causes you concern. Hope this helps.
HiYou've got great volume in your lips - perhaps some balancing can be achieved with skilled use of hyaluronic acid dermal fillers such as Restylane Kysse (EU) - I would budget for no more than 1 ml. Results should last about 6 months in you.
Thank you for your question and for sharing your photographs. Sorry that you are having some concerns about your lip shape. A conservative lip augmentation with a small amount of carefully placed hyaluronic acid based dermal filler such as Juvederm can fine tune areas of concern to produce beautiful and natural results. Please be sure to see an expert injector for an in-person consultation to fully discuss your concerns and your goals and expectations in order to determine the best treatment plan. Hope this helps and best wishes!
Hi, I have performed many lip augmentation procedures using dermal fillers or lip implants for over 30 years. From the photos, your upper lip is concave on either side of the midline and is somewhat larger in volume compared to your lower lip which makes the lips appear out of proportion. Following the beauty principles that I developed over the past 3 decades on face and body beauty, the upper lip should be approximately 75 % the size of the lower lip for the lips to appear balanced. The lips can be augmented using a dermal filler for precise shaping or a Permalip implant (lower lip only) for a more general volume and augmentation.Dermal filers and lip implants offer far more reliable volume to augment the lips than permanent fillers or fat injections that are also associated with increased, unwanted, side effects.Hope this helps.

Thank you for sharing your question and photograph, and I think your desired look is achievable. With placement of a hyaluronic acid based dermal filler into your upper lip you can add overall volume to help with the corners while centrally it can camouflage the dips on either side of the hangi...

Its great to hear that you liked your Juvederm XC results. That is still a good options. A new filler which you can use in conjunction with the Juvederm is Volbella. While Juvederm will help fill and define the lips, the Volbella is good for the vertical lip lines and perioral lines.Good Luck
Lip filler bumps is fairly common after filler. The bumps can occur early on and many settle down. Although massage after filler is considered a mainstay, beware that massage can drive the filler into another location if done too early. Reasons for bumps after filler: Technique- Filler ma...
Thank you for sharing your question and congratulations on your lip augmentation. I tell patients to wait until the swelling from the first set of injections has resolved prior to pursuing additional augmentation, normally about 2 weeks. Hope this helps.
