I'm looking for someone that has experience with this type of reaction and has treated it successfully. Or if you're out of the area and can recommend someone in the NYC area, that would be greatly appreciated too. Thank you!

I am assuming that your doctor has already tried to remove this with hyaluronidase. If not, this would be the first step so that the product itself is removed. I would be very cautious about injecting steroids as this can cause atrophy of the surrounding tissue. A course of oral steroids might be worth a try. It could take a couple of years for this to resolve on it's own. Injecting PRP could help speed up the healing. Another option would be to surgically remove it or do a fat transfer around the area to improve the appearance.

A combination approach using cortisone and removing all of the filler with Vitrase is usually the best approach.  I would definitely have everything removed to stop the continued reaction that you are facing.  Best, Dr. Green
