If however you are over injected and the skin is stretched then it may very well affect the skin long term. I believe we are seeing some of these affects with lips.  Hope this helps.

Long term this results in more youthful looking skin even if fillers are discontinued. So don’t worry. However, like all things fillers have to be used appropriately.
