My lower and upper lids were sewn together for a week. 6 months later the upper lids are swollen from the eyebrow down and my eyes are breaking out of the sockets. An optometrist, an ophthalmologist, a dry eye specialist try to help with the symptoms. NOthing helps. What could go wrong? Could it be the facial nerves were pressed of pinched during the face surgery and now do not transmit the signals to the glands properly? (The temples are still numb). Which doctor should I go to?
