Lip fillers for a small mouth? Is it possible to get lips as big as in the pictures? (Photos)

Hello. As you can see my lips are very thin and I have always dreamed of wide and voluminous lips. Is it even possible to get the lip size as in the pictures? And if so , what methods would be used?

Your lips are already very nicely shaped and full, but if you would like them to be more voluminous, then hyaluronic-acid based fillers will be able to do that and still keep your lips looking natural. I would suggest going slowly, adding Volbella to create more volume until you get the look you want. It's important to realize that someone else's lips might not look good with your particular features. Consulting with a board-certified dermatologist will give you a better idea of the kinds of results you can expect that will harmonize with your features and bring out your natural beauty.

Fenty07,Fillers could possibly get your lips that full.  However, often the key to attractive lips is getting the position right.  Based on your photo I'd probably do a lip lift with augmentation to get you lips like you want. That's a much more permanent solution than a filler.  Good luck

Fenty07   I would recommend lip augmentation with Hyaluronic Acid, like Juvederm plus to see if you like the look. Another option is fat transfer which is more permanent. It is done under local anesthesia and fat is usually taken from the lower abdomen or thighs. Studies show that at least 1/3 of transferred fat last forever. Be careful regarding going really large because the result can look fake and over done. Seek out a board certified plastic surgeon in your area, Good Luck!

Hi and thank you for sharing your question! You do have
beautiful lips and based on the pictures you posted, we can easily give them a
decent boost in volume with injecting some fillers. However, to achieve the
best aesthetic results, it needs to be done skillfully and slowly in steps. I
usually do not inject more than 1 syringe of hyaluronic acid filler at a time
and I would like to wait at least for 2 weeks following injection for it
to fully settle and for all the swelling (if any) to completely go away, and
then depending on the results and on the aesthetic goals compared with the
initial size of the lips, additional amount of filler can be added. The
suitable fillers for the lips are hyaluronic acid fillers and depending on the
desired look whether you prefer short or long-lasting results, you can choose
from Restylane, Juvederm Ultra/Ultra Plus, Volbella or Voluma. I hope it helps

You would get a nice improvement with lip fillers. These fillers, (Volbella, Restylane, Juvederm) are good to create a symmetrical and full lip. PDO Nova threads can also be used to improve shape and provide lift. Fat or implants are an alternative. I recommend getting a formal evaluation with a facial sculpting expert. Best, Dr. Emer

It is certainly achievable. Lip fillers are an art and it may take 3/4 syringes to get the look you want. It is best to have 1ml injected at a time. It is also important to go to a doctor that does not just look at your lips but your face as a whole to determine whether larger lips will make you more or less beautiful.

Thank you for your pictures! Very common question.  The best way to tackle lips like yours is slowly increasing the volume - think of it like slowly filling a tire with air.  Ideally at first we would use a thicker product that still has hydrophilic qualities (likes to absorb water to give a soft, plump look) such as juvederm ultra plus.  I would then recommend giving it about a month before proceeding with possibly another syringe as needed - sometimes you need something softer to help with the definition and refinement at that point like juvederm ultra or volbella.  Your goal is certainly achievable.  Best of luck!

Thank you for sharing your question and photographs.  I do think that you can approximate the shape and size seen in your goal photographs with careful placement of a thick hyaluronic acid based dermal fill such as Juvederm Ultra Plus.  Because of the tendency of the lips to swell I would recommend starting with a single syringe and adding to your results after 2-4 weeks with a second syringe.  This allows for a gradual and incremental addition.  Hope this helps.

Yes it is possible to make them as big as you want, as long as you go slowly ... 1 syringe at a time or so...
however the shape of lips are also different and it is harder to make somebody's lips... look like somebody ease's.

Dear Fenty07:The beautiful shape and volume inherent to your lips would make it possible to achieve an augmentation similar to the pictures you show. You might wish to have just one syringe at your first visit so that you will not have to stay out of public view from excessive swelling and bruising. This will allow more fine-tuning at subsequent visit(s). Your physician may wish to start with a filler with a high cohesivity and high G', to provide some lift and projection, such as Juvederm Ultra Plus, and later a filler with low cohesivity to provide smooth results without swelling may be preferable, such as Belotero.All the best,  Dr. Clark
